Viscofan Bioengineering successfully presented the European project TriAnkle at the Termis World Congress, held at the end of June in Seattle. This is a triennial medical-scientific meeting already consolidated as a world reference in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine and in this, its seventh edition, bio-inks and 3D bio-printing gained a great prominence.
Dr. Lluis Quintana, Corporate Director of Viscofan BioEngineering and coordinator of the TriAnkle project, and his team answered all the questions from the representatives of the different companies that came to the Viscofan Bioengineering stand to learn more about the project, which uses 3D printing to build customised scaffolds based on collagen and gelatine as regenerative therapy for people with tendinopathies.
Within the framework of this congress, Lluis Quintana also gave a conference on medical innovation in 3D printing in which he advanced the latest achievements of the TriAnkle project and which attracted a large number of researchers interested in it.
TriAnkle was also present as a sponsor in the “Women in Term” space dedicated to women researchers in regenerative medicine.
