The first week of May, the Cívitas Metropolitano stadium, headquarters of Atlético de Madrid, hosted the ISOKINETIC congress with more than 3,000 participants from different professional profiles related to sports medicine and from 85 different countries.
In this context, on Sunday 4 May, Dr. Josep Vergés, President and CEO of OAFI Foundation, gave a talk entitled ‘Athletes’ perspectives on joint injuries and regenerative therapies’, where he presented the findings of a focus group conducted with FC Barcelona athletes, within the framework of the TriAnkle project. The conference addressed the athletes’ experiences of joint injuries and the impact of regenerative therapies on their recovery and sporting performance.
